Reflecting on 榴莲官网进入's 175th anniversary, I am struck by how much we have changed over the years and how much we have stayed the same.

The changes are obvious. When Gideon Platt opened his corner Apothecary in 1849, customers shopped on site, perhaps visiting the soda fountain, and deliveries were made by horse and buggy. Today, we ship from 4 locations in the US, touching manufacturers across the globe and helping them make fasteners, medical devices, semiconductors... and just about every other type of durable good.

What has stayed the same is more subtle, but perhaps more important. The people who work at 榴莲官网进入 share the same ethos of the generations before them - take care of your customers, be a great team member and always operate with integrity. In researching the history of our company, I found a letter written by an employee from the front lines of World War II, thanking his fellow employees for sending a basket of treats from home. Today, I witness the instinctive generosity of our team members every day - from helping first responders after a hurricane, to bringing in a bag of gifts for underserved children. More often than not, our folks give without being asked.

Our first acquisition was a fertilizer company in the early 1900. This year, we were delighted to fold Prosys into the HH family.

I believe the future is bright and we at 榴莲官网进入 promise to use our good fortune to expand possibilities for our customers, communities and other stakeholders for generations to come.
